AURANGABAD: A large number of police force has been deployed in the Parali Vaijanath town of Beed district following the murder of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) worker Sangeet Dighole in front of the Parali railway station on Saturday.The police on Sunday arrested one of the suspects, Balasaheb Bade. The main accused are still absconding, the police said.
Parali police sub-inspector B.H. Rathod told TNN that the murder was the result of political rivalry between two groups.Dighole had gone to Parali on Saturday for some court matter when a group of persons attacked him in front of the railway station. He died on way to hospital.Dighole was a close relative of T.P. Munde, Beed district NCP president, and BJP leader Gopinath Munde's rival. The funeral took place on Sunday morning amid tension. Senior police officials have been camping in Parali town since Saturday night.
